Introductory FlightS!

A discovery flight is an introductory lesson during where you get to fly the helicopter! This is a great opportunity for you to experience the freedom and satisfaction of controlling a helicopter and it counts toward your hourly requirement for your first helicopter rating. The experience also includes a pre-flight safety briefing , including your first endorsement as well as a post-flight debriefing and discussion of our training program for participants who express an interest in taking additional lessons. - How all the controls work?
- What makes a helicopter fly?
- How do you become a professional helicopter pilot?
The experience includes engine start and taxi (about 10 minutes), 50 minutes of flight time, plus another 30 minutes of pre- and post-flight ground discussion, for a total of about 90 minutes. If you would like a longer flight, we are happy to accommodate and will pro-rate based on our normal aircraft rental and instruction rates.
